Housing - Past & Present.

As you know, during the past, most of our parents or grandparents, lived in places such as 'kampung', shophouses or even small room flats. Singapore was not developed because the economy during early 1950s was still unstable. Singapore was still developing at that time. As time goes by, when Singapore met its millenium year, we have houses such as three to five room HDB flats, semi-detached, Condominium and etc.....Apart from that, we still have shophouses and 'kampung'. Shophouses can be found along Chinatown, Little India, Kampung Glam and etc.....'Kampung' can be found at Pulau Ubin.....In this modern century, everthing is techno-savvy. Sanitation nowadays it is much more convenient than the past. All we need, is just right under our nose.....If in the past, toilets were located outside the house. Still, need to queue for your turn. When water runs out, people in the past need to bring pails to collect water. So much different between past and present lives! We are so fortunate.....
